Sister Anderson

Charell Anderson
I was born and raised in Slaterville. I graduated from Weber High School. I am the youngest of eight children. Before I was born my Dad was blinded after getting some barb wire in his eye. Because my Father was blind my Mother did most of the raising of the children. I was married to the best guy in the whole world! We were married for 35 years.  I worked and retired from Morton. We have five children, four boys and one girl.
I was a foster parent for over fifty children. When my youngest was two weeks old they brought me four other new babies to care for. We set up two cribs and put a baby on each end of the cribs. Our baby was in the bassinette by our bed. The best part of fostering babies is that I was able to buy them cute little outfits so they would look nice to meet their new family!  I spend hours in the winter crocheting and making baby blankets. In the summer I spend time planting and weeding my yard.  I have a strong belief of my Heavenly Father and know he has helped me through some harrowing times!  I am very thankful for this Ward as I know I could not stay in my home if it wasn’t for the help I get, especially from my home teacher.
