Sister Leslie Ballard
I
was born in Georgia but raised in Florida. I joined the church when I was an 18
year old single mom. Married David when I was 21 in the Logan Temple (but we
lived in Florida). David was born and raised here in North Ogden, and most of
his family is still here. We have Ethan 13, Layla 7, Isaiah 5, and Lucas 2. I
love all kinds of foods, mostly desserts. I like to cook and bake. I love to
read. I belonged to a book club in Florida that I loved. Other than that I
mostly take care of my kids and work at home.
We stayed in Florida for 8 years until right after the birth of my 4th
child I was diagnosed with Lymphoma (cancer). We then decided to be closer to
David’s family so as soon as I was better and we got everything in order we
packed up and moved here.
